• Pricing starts at $19.00 a linear foot ( includes two 2x4's and pickets 4x4 posts and concrete )
• Additional charges for post holes if rock is present. Up to $50.00 a hole
• Depending on  type of wood used, supply cost will run between $7.00 to $9.50 per foot (6x6x1 or 6x4x1 Dogear pretreated pickets, 6x6x1 or 6x4x1 cedar pickets)
• Dumping charge will be $2.00 per foot
• 10% off if your neighbor needs and buys a new fence as well.
• Ask your neighbor about the good neighbor fence and split the cost.

"Dillo Dirt^TM" is a compost made by the City of Austin since 1989. If you know Austin, you will not be surprised to learn that it was the first program of it's kind in the state and one of the oldest in the nation. All yard trimmings collected curbside across the City as well as some of our treated sewage sludge are combined and composted to create Dillo Dirt^TM. The heat generated in composting (130 to 170 degrees fahrenheit) is sufficient to virtually eliminate human and plant pathogens. After active composting for over a month, our compost is "cured" for several months, then screened to produce finished Dillo Dirt^TM.

Dillo Dirt^TM easily meets all Texas. and EPA requirements for "unrestricted" use, which even includes vegetable gardens, if you desire. Like many other composts, Dillo Dirt^TM has many benefits to the soil and plants. Composts add to the organic matter in the soil, reducing watering. Organic matter feeds the microbes in the soil as well as plants, making a more healthy environment. Dillo Dirt^TM is made from totally recycled materials, and this recycling is less expensive to citizens than landfilling these materials

• Sandy loam is used as a base dirt for grass installation.
• Dillo dirt is used for our top dressing. (average yard takes about 8 to 12 yards)

Typical water feature range between $2500.00 to $6500.00 and on a running river or a dry creek bed for not much more. Price will include:

• Waterfall with full yard length rivers requires at least a 6000GPH pump due to the length water has to travel to the waterfall.

Tree Trimming 

The key to our successful retaining wall construction is a level foundation. The foundation course is below ground level so that the soil will hold it firmly in place.

We measure out your prospective wall, using stakes and string to mark off the key points, starting at the lowest point, we use a flat-pointed shovel to dig a trench for the foundation course. The dimensions of the trench will vary depending on the size of your block generally about 3" to 4" deep.

 

We will tamp the trench with a hand tamper to compact the underlying soil. If your property slopes, we may have to dig your foundation trench in a series of steps equal to the height of the blocks or rocks or boulders. Then, as we continue with construction, we build up the lower sections with block until the stepped areas accept successive courses of blocks in a level and seamless wall.

If your property is relatively flat, we’ll continue laying the foundation course, making sure that all blocks are level with each other and below ground.
